Encourage. Inspire. Challenge. Affirm.
to ministering to men of any walk.
The Call
“Pray often, for prayer is a shield to the soul, a sacrifice to God, and a scourge for Satan.”
Coach Bill McCartney’s statement at Promise Keepers in 1993 seems increasingly true, “Men, we are in a war, but we haven’t been at war. We’ve been retreating!”
Recent Barna Group studies show that a growing number of people think that the sharing of christian faith is the responsibility of the church and not of themselves. We are falling into apathy. The role of the church is to equip believers for the work of the ministry, not to do ministry for us.
Sir, would you join us in praying for believers, the church at large, and beyond? Would you go to battle, first on your knees, then by coming around other men to build them up in the faith? Would you step up to encourage, inspire, challenge and affirm other men around you?
Through prayer and stepping up you can make a difference in the lives of men. You do not have to go it alone, in fact, you were never intended to shoulder the weight of responsibility yourself. Our hope is that you would accept the challenge and let encourage you.
